including many rivers, streams, fresh water pans and the semi saline waters of Lake
St. Lucia, the Largest estuarine system in South Africa.
The hides along the
isimangaliso Birding Route belong to the individual land owners, who all want to share their
wonderful wild life, and their local indigenous knowledge of our feathered friends with
you and all other visitors to the elephant Coast and the Greater St. Lucia wetlands
park.
